When she joined the project, Disney and Halle were seeking someone who could create her unique look and provide support throughout. After discussions and sketching ideas, Halle expressed her desire to embrace her natural hair. In London, they experimented with color and texture, supported by the patience and guidance of Rob Marshall and Disney. Cinegirl at Sundance Film Festival London 2023

It was a joy to attend the London edition of the Sundance Film Festival. Hosted in the bustling heart of the city at Picturehouse Central and featuring a selection of titles from Sundance's January festival held in Utah, filmmakers from all over the world gathered to present their films and discuss their work. Highlights for me were the festival’s opening and closing night films: the former, Charlotte Regan’s delightfully turbulent SCRAPPER; the latter, the emotionally incisive and quick-witted YOU HURT MY FEELINGS, directed by Nicole Holofcener.
