It’s the UK largest female short film festival and is now BAFTA recognised.
It was founded in 2010 by Gabriella Apicella and Gemma Mitchell.
The festival awards for Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Editing, Cinematography, Sound Design, Composing, Production Design and Animation, and any short film that has a woman in one of those roles is eligible.
With the opening night on the 13th of September, the 2019 edition will take place over nine days in different cinemas in London, with a spicy programme of shorts selections and special events.
Submissions for 2020 are going to open in October.
