Diversity at Cannes

The festival’s esteemed Marché du Film—one of the world’s most hotly anticipated international film markets—has launched a new program focusing on the environment and diversity. 

In today’s Cannes Daily—a handy round-up of industry dealings, news and gossip available on site at the festival each day—French film journalist Vincent Le Leurch introduces The Impact programme, which features a range of conferences and round tables on how these issues are being represented and engaged in all aspects of the film industry, from documentary and VR to genre film.
